Fayoum Oasis Tour
Our representative will pick you up from your Cairo hotel for a delightful tour to the renowned sites of El Fayoum. The distance from Cairo to Fayoum is approximately 95 km. Our focus will be on Wadi El Rayan, a designated Protected Area since 1989. Our journey starts with a visit to Wadi Hitan Protected Area, also known as the Valley of the Whales, situated around 90 km from Fayoum. Wadi Hitan, acknowledged as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, houses ancient whale skeletons dating back 40 million years. On the way to Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls, we'll explore Mudawara Mountain, followed by a stop at Wadi Al Rayan Waterfalls. Wadi El Rayan, a natural depression in the western desert, boasts Egypt's sole waterfalls, formed in 1970 by overflow from Fayoum's agricultural lands. A satisfying late lunch awaits at a reputable restaurant. Subsequently, we'll return to Cairo.
