Day One: Tour of Luxor Attractions
Hotel Pickup:
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and fly you to Luxor to begin your two-day Luxor & Aswan trip. Upon arrival at Luxor airport, your private Egyptologist guide will take you to visit the following Luxor attractions:
Valley of the Kings:
The mystical Valley of the Kings, hidden within a golden hill resembling the mythical ben-ben, served as the final resting place for many great kings, queens, and nobles from the New Kingdom (1570 – 1050 BC), including Ramses II, Seti I, Tutankhamen, and Hatshepsut. This site reveals immense archaeological and Egyptological significance from that golden era.
Hatshepsut Temple
The Hatshepsut Temple, an architectural marvel known as the holy of holies, features three massive terraces carved into the stone cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Built during her reign (1479-1458 BCE), it was dedicated to Amun-Ra and serves to immortalize Queen Hatshepsut's life story and achievements.
Colossi of Memnon:
The Colossi of Memnon, standing as the golden guardians of Luxor since their construction by Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1353 BCE), offer insights into his family and their dedications to the Nile God Hapy. These statues have been rebuilt numerous times over the centuries.

Karnak Temple:
The Karnak Temple Complex, Egypt's second most visited archaeological site, served as a religious capital in Thebes. Built over 2000 years from the Middle Kingdom to the Ptolemaic era, it was dedicated to the Theban triad of Mut, Montu, and Amun-Ra. The complex includes the Hypostyle Hall, various precincts, and the divine Avenue of Sphinxes.
Overnight:
After the day's tour, you'll be transferred to the train station to catch a first-class train to Aswan. Upon arrival, we'll take you to your 5-star hotel in Aswan for an overnight stay.
Day Two: Tour of Aswan Attractions

After breakfast, you'll be picked up from your hotel to visit the following Aswan attractions with your private tour guide:
Aswan High Dam:
Constructed in the mid-1960s, the Aswan High Dam is a modern marvel that enabled Egypt to produce electricity and enter an era of innovation.
The Unfinished Obelisk:
This massive monolith, the largest ever created, was commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut to immortalize her legacy. Standing at 137 feet and weighing a thousand tons, it remains in its bedrock after cracking during construction.
Philae Temple:
The Philae Temple was built to honor the goddess Isis, associated with motherhood, as well as her husband Osiris and their son Horus. Mostly constructed between 380-362 BC during the Ptolemaic era, it preserves the legendary tales of these deities.
Lunch Time:
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan city.
Afterward, you'll catch a flight back to Cairo and transfer to your hotel, concluding your Luxor & Aswan trip from Cairo.
